Sara Terry believes that a good portrait is more than skin deep. She establishes an easy rapport with her portrait subjects – young, old, two-legged, four-legged, dressed to kill or dressed for play. Sara draws on her experience as a documentary photographer, taking advantage of natural light and unrehearsed moments to create portraits marked by character, humor and grace.
